Clinic & Treatment FAQs
Glow Aesthetics Collective is a doctor-led aesthetic clinic in Adelaide, with a trained team and a personal approach to every consultation. Treatment plans are discussed openly, so you always know what to expect before you book.
Not every treatment requires a consultation first. Skin treatments like facials can often be booked directly, while cosmetic treatments always require a consultation with our prescribing practitioner beforehand. If you’re unsure, feel free to call us on (08) 8318 4990 and we can point you in the right direction.
You can book online via Fresha or call our Ingle Farm clinic directly. Our team will help match you with the right aesthetic consultant for your first visit, and where relevant, your assessment will be with Dr Muazzam Rifat (No. MED0001675784), our prescribing practitioner.
Yes. Every consultation covers your skin history, goals and any concerns, so your practitioner can talk through which treatments may be suitable for you. If something isn’t the right fit, they’ll say so and walk you through other options instead.
You’ll be told anything specific to bring or do beforehand when you book, or during your consultation, since this can vary depending on the treatment.
As a general guide, it helps to:
- Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face if your treatment involves your skin
- Avoid strong actives like retinol or exfoliating acids for a few days beforehand, unless told otherwise
- Bring a list of any medications, supplements or allergies
- Avoid alcohol and excessive sun exposure in the lead-up to your appointment
- Come with any questions ready, so nothing gets missed on the day
- Allow a little extra time in case there’s paperwork to complete
